Discipline

The amount of homework set is obviously more than at schools that are less academically ambitious - but the amount will be appropriate to your child's ability and the school's aims. All students are expected to develop good study habits and work purposefully. Whatever the assignments are, they will be taught to represent expectations, not suggestions.
Children are always expected to show respect for every member at the school. Breaches of the code of conduct are not accepted and will result is disciplinary action. The School Handbook comprehensively outlines the rules imposed by the school.

Commitment to Parents

Working together with parents in monitoring a child's activity is highly valued by the school. We share with parents, the responsibility of exerting a supportive, positive influence on the child. Consequently we find that communication between the school and parents is crucial. In addition to termly reports and parent/teacher meetings, parents can make appointments to discuss any matters relating to their child's general well being at any time throughout the year.
