Discipline

discipline As expected, the amount of homework set is more than at schools that are less academically ambitious – but the amount will always vary to be in accordance to your child’s ability and the school’s aims. All students are expected to develop good study habits and work purposefully, using their time efficiently. Whatever the assignments are, they will be taught to represent expectations, not suggestions. The students of Oak Heights are always mindful of the need to show respect for every member at the school, be it staff, other students or the administrative staff.  Any breaches of the code of conduct are not accepted and are taken very seriously, often resulting in immediate disciplinary action. The School Handbook comprehensively outlines the rules imposed by the school.
